About Aref Psychotherapy
Clinic Overview

Empowering Growth Through Compassionate, Culturally Competent Care
Aref Psychotherapy is a Toronto-based mental health clinic grounded in the belief that care should be as unique as the person receiving it.
We support individuals of all ages through trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and major life transitions — with therapy that is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and deeply human.
From your first contact to your final session, our goal is to create a space that feels safe, respectful, and free of judgment — so your story can be heard, understood, and supported.
Our Philosophy
At Aref Psychotherapy, our approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and individuality. We believe meaningful therapy begins with understanding who you are—not just what you’ve been through.

Culturally Competent
With a team fluent in 14+ languages and diverse life experience, we honour every background and identity.

Trauma-Informed
We recognize the impact of trauma and meet clients with empathy, not assumptions.

Strength-Based
We focus on your resilience, not just your pain.

Personalized
No two clients are the same , your care plan won’t be either.
