Biography:
At the heart of therapy is a safe and collaborative relationship where healing, growth, and resilience become possible.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and hold a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. With over 20 years of experience, I specialize in providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and groups. I work with children (12 years and older), adolescents, and adults, tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each client.
In therapy, I emphasize collaboration and create a supportive environment characterized by warmth, empathy, and understanding. I offer unconditional positive regard and foster a space where clients can gain awareness and insight into their challenges while exploring effective strategies for meaningful change.
I have a particular interest in incorporating cultural and gender-specific perspectives into my work. This allows me to consider the unique sociocultural and gender-related factors that may influence each client’s experiences, helping to ensure that therapy is both respectful and relevant to their context.
